Country Western Wedding

Mr. and Mrs. Korthaus made so many wonderful memories for their country western wedding in southern Iowa. I cannot tell you how happy it made me to hear Hannah say several times with the biggest smile how perfect her day was and how happy it made her. This is truly all I wish for couples as kind and wonderful as Hannah + Cody.

Their country western wedding was filled with cowboy hats and boots, cowhides, cacti, and a group of AMAZING people! Although it was a scorcher outside (much like the wild west), everyone took on the heat with a smile. Hannah + Cody truly have some great family and friends by their side.

The magic began when Hannah + Cody read their vows to each other with their backs to each other before the first look. It was so beautiful to hear the sweet and well thought out promises they wrote to each other. There’s something so special about sharing an intimate moment reading your vows to your partner like this when you’re not in front of a big crowd. The words can take time to sink in, the pressure is off, and you can relax by your lover’s side. There were tears and laughter and I’m so thankful to have captured that moment for them.

After the ceremony, Hannah had surprised Cody with the Iowa State party bus. He saw it shortly after they had said I do and walked down the aisle.

It’s weddings like these that give you hope for love in the world. I truly can’t explain how grateful I was to be a part of something so beautiful. Hannah + Cody are both amazing people and they completely deserve each other 100%. Cheers to many happy years together, and may you grow more in love with every passing day!
