A Modern Elegant Wedding at Tamory Hall in Pella, IA

Alexa + Aaron were absolutely GORGEOUS for their modern, elegant wedding at Tamory Hall. The camera loves both of them and they could not be more perfect together!

I got the opportunity to previously work at Palmer Group in Des Moines with Alexa and it was a blast getting to hang with her again and see some old work friends as well!

I started the day capturing the girls getting ready at Tamory Hall in their beautiful bridal suite. It took a little longer to get beautified than planned, but in the end it was worth it and we made up any lost time!

We decided to do Alexa’s first look with her dad at Tamory Hall, then ventured to the canal on the square for Alexa + Aaron’s first look. It was such an epic location and it was so sweet to see Alexa bring tears to Aaron’s eyes when he saw her! I don’t blame him, she was smokin’! We quickly snagged some photos around the canal with her “possy/family” photobombing a couple photos for laughs! This truly was a fun crew!

Following their romantic stroll at the canal, we ventured to the Central Park square where we met up with the wedding party and family for photos!

After the ceremony, the wedding party crew made there way to the rooftop at Butcher’s Brewhuis and Deli. There are SO many cool shops, bars, and restaurants on the square and this rooftop did NOT disappoint. They had an epic view of the Pella square and the most dreamy, romantic lighting. I found myself obsessed with capturing gorgeous portraits of Alexa. She’s a natural born model!

After they partied it up at the rooftop, we all headed back to Tamory Hall for grand entrances, dinner, speeches and more! Like me, Alexa has a sweet tooth and made sure to sneak a bonus piece of cake after her and Aaron cut it and shared a piece. That’s totally something I would have done! And it looked absolutely delicious!

It ended up being an awesome day and I hope their modern elegant wedding was just as magical for Alexa + Aaron as it was for me!
