The weather was perfect for Jessica + Boonie’s moody wedding at Barnes’ Place in Adel, IA. The tall trees, changing fall leaves and cloudy sky gave their day the perfect vibe!

Jessica started the day sharing her first look with her step dad. His reaction was seriously the best to watch! He has such a kind smile! Boonie wanted to make sure to wait to see his beautiful bride right as she walked through the doors down the aisle. This venue made for the perfect reveal with those gorgeous wooden doors amidst the tall trees and greenery.

Even more exciting was that this couple was bold enough to get messy with their cake cutting at the reception! Jessica was not afraid to smear some cake in Boonie’s face, which was quite hilarious to capture! This ended in playful smiles and frosting all over their hands and faces.

The rain even managed to hold off until the reception where it only drizzled the perfect amount to still allow dancing and partying in the rain! Don’t miss those epic shots! This crew definitely knew how to have a good time! I’ve already laughed out loud several times while reviewing this gallery.
