A Date Night Engagement around Des Moines
This could not have been a more fun date night engagement session around Des Moines! Allison + Tyler actually went to the same high school AND college together. However, it wasn’t until 2 years ago that they reconnected and started dating after Allison asked Tyler to hang out.
Fast forward to the proposal where Tyler took Allison to the community center at a lakehouse in Nebraska. He had family help put pedals down that led to the doc where he popped the question. HOW CUTE?!
Now they are both crazy in love and can’t wait to get married! And neither can their fur babies, Milo and Mari. They were such a bundle of excitement that I couldn’t stop laughing. And they preferred to walk themselves which I found quite hilarious!
Their session started at a park near their home together where they frequently take Milo and Mari for walks. Then we headed to a spot in West Des Moines to capture some epic photos in the tall grass and bright sunlight.
Valley Junction was our next stop and it looked way cool with the changing fall trees in the background.
After more of the “traditional” photos, we spiced things up by heading to UpDown. They enjoyed pinball, skee ball and other fun games while drinking a beer.
Next we headed to Court Ave. where Tyler told Allison a funny story from his college days and they looked super cute snuggling up to each other and downing yet another delicious beer.
The sun had mainly set by this time, so we decided to find a sweet spot on a rooftop and I’m so glad we did! These are possibly my favorite images from the whole session! They totally rocked it!
